Troubleshooting: SPARK SLS does not charge on SPARK charging station, but it charges with the individual charger.
Some times the rubber at the bottom of the SPARK can become separated from the hard plastic parts on the bottom of the SPARK. Because this creates a greater distance from the charging pads to the charging pins on the SPARK charging station, the charging pins cannot reach the charging pads.
To correct this problem, slightly loosen the bottom screws on the back of the SPARK with a T8 torx screwdriver and gently press the dark blue rubber into the groove of the lighter blue plastic. Once the dark blue gasket is back in its groove, please retighten the backing screws of the SPARK unit.
If pressing on this rubber portion does not fix the problem, please contact Teacher Support to arrange for the return and repair of the unit.
