Theory of Operation for Colorimeter
The PS-2121 Colorimeter is a PASport sensor that reports four values per sample. The data can range from 0.0% to 100.0% transmittance. If the sensor detects more that a 100 % transmittance, the sensor will blink the red LED under the calibration button if a measurement is out of range. The reported values are red, green, blue and orange. The data used is usually the color that creates the most contrast, i.e. red light and a blue solution.
