Troubleshooting SPARKvue BT connectivity on iOS or iPadOS

How can I connect my wireless sensors to SPARKvue on and iPhone or iPad?

  • Go to "settings" in the device
  • In the device settings, go to the app settings for SPARKvue and allow Bluetooth access within SPARKvue app setting
    You will also need to make sure that location services are enabled (either "always" or "while using app") in addition to Bluetooth access


Bluetooth Troubleshooting - iOS and iPadOS

  • Airplane Mode is OFF
  • Bluetooth is turned on in iOS settings
  • SPARKvue app has Bluetooth permissions enabled in device settings
  • SPARKvue app has Location Services permissions enabled in device settings
  • Latest version of SPARKvue app installed
  • iOS/iPadOS version is 11 or later
  • Bluetooth radio type is 4.x or later
  • Device previously paired and showing up in iOS Bluetooth device list
    • Classic Bluetooth - re-pair with device via OS
    • Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth 4.x or later) - leave unpaired
    • Remove/unpair device
    • Attempt to connect in PASCO software
