USB devices not showing up on Mac OS

USB devices not visible on a Mac.

Newer Macs often only ship with USB C ports (ovals).  To use our USB devices, a USB A to USB C converter is needed for these types of Macs.  If your Mac is not seeing your USB connected devices, please make sure that your USB A to USB C converter is connected to your Mac, and restart the Mac. 

Many times the converters are not fully recognized if the adapter is connected while the computer is running.  The restart can be helpful in getting the adapter recognized by the computer.
