Rotational inertia for cart wheels
Rotational inertia for wheels for fixed axle carts.
We use the same wheel and axle system for a number of our products. The following information can be helpful on more detailed analysis of the motions of the carts.
The rotational inertia for each wheel is 139g-mm2 per wheel. Taking into account the four wheels on the cart, this gives 556 g-mm2 per cart. This calculation includes the rotational inertia of the outer race of the bearing.
