Activities
01) Reading Graphs
In this activity, students will use motion sensors to generate motion graphs. Then, students will use the graphs to practice their graphical analysis skills.
02) Acceleration and Gravity
In this activity, students will use motion sensors to analyze how gravity affects the motion of falling objects varying in size and mass.
03) Force
In this activity, students will use motion and force sensors to analyze the relationships between force, mass, and acceleration.
04) Air Drag
In this activity, students will use motion sensors to observe that an object in free fall's velocity is related to the net force on the object. Additionally, students will learn that air drag produces a force with direction opposite to the fall.
05) Impact Force
In this activity, students will use force sensors to measure forces produced during a collision. Then, they'll use their data to determine the best material for protecting fragile objects during a collision.
