Vector Components of Velocity

Students explore the relationship between the velocity of an object and its vector components. They use a Smart Cart with a Smart Cart Motor to drive it at a constant velocity. They place the track in the corner of a room. A wireless motion sensor is mounted to the cart and pointed in the x and then y directions. It measures the components of the cart's velocity relative to the walls of the corner.
