2022 NCNAAPT Conference Hosted by PASCO

On April 23, dozens of physics educators from the Northern California and Nevada region attended the annual NCNAAPT conference hosted here at PASCO Scientific.

Educators listened to keynote speaker, Dr. Brian Holmes, from San José State University discuss the physics of brass musical instruments.

They also participated in a "share and tell" of different physics teaching topics, including a demonstration of PASCO's coupled pendulum lab using wireless rotary motion sensors  as well as a demo of PASCO's multipurpose aluminum meter sticks for torque, statics, rotation, and optics.

Following their morning meetings, attendees headed outdoors to enjoy lunch in the California sun.

Fed and refreshed, the teachers returned back indoors for a behind-the-scenes tour of the PASCO facility. From the factory floor where products are assembled and tested to the warehouse where they are shipped out from, the teachers got a close-up look at how their PASCO products are made. They even toured the Engineering department to see how PASCO engineers turn great teaching ideas into real-life products for the classroom.

Of course we couldn't let the participants leave without some goodies!
