Overview

Students can confirm Malus' Law of Polarization by using the Polarization Analyzer with the Basic Optics System. All components mount directly to PASCO's Basic Optics Bench. The Rotary Motion Sensor is used to measure the angle between the two polarizing disks. The Light Sensor measures the intensity of light which passes through both polarizers.
