Bar Meter display

Visually compare the most recently recorded data values across similar measurements.

Displaying data in a bar meter is useful when you want to compare values across multiple sensors of the same type of measurement. The bar meter display is commonly used with the Wireless Colorimeter and Turbidimeter, since it contains six absorbance sensors.

  1. Display Tools

    • Scale to Fit

      Click to scale the entire display to make all measurements visible.

    • Auto Scale

      Select to continuously scale the entire display to make all measurements visible.

    • Add Bar

      Click to add an additional measurement at the far right of the display.

    • Remove Bar

      Click to remove a bar from the display. First select the bar you want to remove, then click the Remove Bar button.

    • Digits

      Show or hide digital values on top of each bar.

    • Statistics

      Select to display statistics of the data below the measurement. Click the menu to select the type of statistical data to display.

    • Change Layout

      Select to change the bar layout between vertical and horizontal bars.

    • Clear Measurements

      Click to reset all the measurements to select new measurements to display.

      Note

      This tool does not delete the data. If you wish to delete the data, see Delete Runs.

    • Pin Toolbar

      Click to pin the toolbar to the display.

    • Properties

      Click to access the display properties.

    • Show or Hide Tools

      Click to show or hide specific tools from the toolbar.

  2. Display Title

    Click, then enter a custom title for the display.

  3. Run Selector

    Click to change the displayed data run.

  4. Common Measurement

    Indicates the type of measurement common to all of the measurements on the horizontal axis. Click to change the displayed unit, if available.

  5. Axis

    Click and drag to scale the axis.

  6. Measurement Selector

    Click to change the displayed measurement.

    Note

    It's only possible to select a measurement that's of the same type as the vertical axis.
