Export data to a spreadsheet

Export data as a CSV (comma separated values) file to open with a spreadsheet app such as Excel or Google Sheets. Alternatively, copy data directly from a table and paste it into a spreadsheet or word processing app.

Export All Data

  1. In the main menu, go to File > Export Data.
  2. Select which data you want to export.
  3. Click Alignment Options, then select how to align the data.
  4. Click Export Format, then select Comma separated values.
  5. Click Export to file.
  6. Save the CSV file on your computer.
  7. Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet program.

Copy and Paste Data from a Table

This feature requires a Table display with data visible on the screen.

  1. Click and drag over the data you want to copy.
  2. Right-click, then select Copy Values.
  3. Open a spreadsheet or word processing app and paste the values.
