I am using the CI-6552A with my CI-6510 interface. The power amplifier outputs voltage when it is first turned on. What can I do?
When the computer is in DOS, the Power Amplifier will output 10 Volts if the power switch is on and this could overload a circuit that might be connected to it. The software controls this voltage. The Data Monitor Porgram sets the default voltage to zero. The Power Amplfier Program sets the default AC peak voltage to 5 Volts.
The solution is that you should not turn on the power amplifier power switch until a program (ex: Power Amplifier or Data Monitor) has been run and the desired output voltage has been selected.
