PASCO Solution:
CI-6883 DataStudio Lite is a downloadable software product. In the Lite configuration, DataStudio:
  1. Supports all PASPORT and all ScienceWorkshop interfacing and sensor hardware.
  2. Allows users to display a Graph, a Table, and a Digits display.
  3. Has a Graph display with auto-scale, smart tool, and selected stats tools (min, max, mean). It can display one run of data for each sensor measurement versus time. Selected display configuration options are available.
  4. Has a Table display with selected statistics available (min, max, mean). It can display one run of data for each sensor measurement. Selected display configuration options are available.
  5. Has a Digits display that can display one run of data for each sensor measurement. Selected display configuration options are available.
  6. Can collect data using one selectable sample rate.
  7. Can open and run all DataStudio workbooks and activities.
  • DataStudio Lite is recommended for the user who intends to run available DataStudio activities developed by PASCO scientific or other developers.
  • DS Full Features is well suited to users who are interested in developing their own activities using multiple sensors, multiple displays, calculations, and sampling conditions. These users are best served by a Full Feature version of DataStudio.
  • DS Full Features offers additional capabilities such as curve fitting, calculator functions, importing/exporting data, manually entering data, entering and modeling equations, and creating and editing workbooks.
