My computer will not recognize my interface; it keeps telling me that the COM port is in use by another program.
|Only one process/application can access the COM port at one time. Remove from the Device Manager the drivers of any devices that may have been connected to the COM port, such as mice and/or modems. Also close all programs/processes (other than DataStudio) that are used to communicate with devices that connect to the computer via the serial (RS-232) port, such as Palm Pilots and modems. Frequently, this can be done by right-clicking on the applets in the "tool tray" on the lower right side of your screen or by deleting the entry from the "Startup" directory in Windows.|
