Multiple File Transfer to SPARKvue

Problem/Symptom:
How do I transfer multiple SPARKlabs to SPARKvue?

PASCO Solution:

SPARKvue for iOS

  1. Copy the files to a computers.

  2. Use iTunes to Sync the Data.

    1. Download and install iTunes.

    2. Connect the iPad to the computer via USB.

    3. On the iPad, select Trust.

    4. Close any file handling dialogs that may appear on the computer.

    5. Open iTunes.

    6. Click on the iPad icon in the upper right.

    7. Click the Apps button.

    8. Go to the File Sharing section

    9. Click on SPARKvue in the Apps section of File Sharing.

    10. Drag and drop the files that you would like to copy from your computer to the SPARKvue documents. (You can also delete files that you do not want.) (Dragging folders is not recommended; because you may not be able to delete the folders.)

    11. Click Apply.

SPARKvue for Android

  1. Copy the files to a Windows or MacOS computer.

  2. Copy the files from the computer to the Android device:

  1. Make sure your device’s screen is unlocked.

  2. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.

    • If you’re asked to select a USB connection on your device, choose Media device (MTP).

  3. Use the File Transfer window that pops up on your computer to drag and drop files to (tablet)/pasco/SPARKvue/documents/.PASCO/documents/SavedWork. Eject your device from Windows, then unplug the USB cable.

Mac-Android transfer (MacOS 10.5+)

  1. Download and install Android File Transfer on your computer.

  2. Open Android File Transfer. (The next time you connect your device, it should open automatically.)

  3. Make sure your device’s screen is unlocked.

  4. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.

    • If you’re asked to select a USB connection on your device, choose Media device (MTP).

  5. Use the Android File Transfer window that pops up on your computer to drag and drop files to (tablet)/pasco/SPARKvue/documents/.PASCO/documents/SavedWork.

  6. Disconnect the USB cable when you’re finished.

  1. Disconnect the Android device from the computer.

SPARKvue for Windows

Copy the files to “%userprofile%\documents\My SPARK Data\Saved Work”.

SPARKvue for MacOS


Copy the files to “\Users\User Account\Documents\My SPARK Data\Saved Work”.
