Oxygen gas sensor is sensitive to changes in ambient pressure.
For best results when using the oxygen gas sensors, maintain the same ambient pressure throughout the experiment. The sensor works by detecting the partial pressure of oxygen within the sampled gas. If the pressure of the gas is increased (without changing the proportions of the contituent gases), the reading for the % oxygen will increase due to the increase in the oxygen partial pressure even though the % oxygen within the sample has not changed.
