You can adjust the sweep speed so that fewer data points are recorded, or, the best solution would be to use the monitor option instead of record. Monitor will display the data but it will not store it in memory. Because the data is not recorded, you can collect and display data at a very high sample rate without overloading the interface.
When you stop monitoring, the last trace of data is displayed and is still in the storage buffer. Therefore, you can adjust the display, analyze (using the smart cursor), print, export, or store the data.
