Preferred direction of shear loading for PS-2141 Force Platform

While the PS-2141 Force Platform is only instrumented to measure the forces in the vertical direction, shear loads (if present) should be loaded as shown below.  The shear forces should be loaded as the green arrow is shown below.  Loading in the red direction can cause the load cells to rotate and read incorrectly.
