How do I reset a SPARK SLS? If you find that the USB port on the SPARK SLS has become unresponsive, it can be helpful to reset the SPARK SLS. This can be done by gently pressing the recessed reset button on the back side of the device. The button can be pressed by placing the end of an unbent paper clip or extended lead from a mechanical pencil. This will cycle the power on the device, so please make sure to save your data prior to pressing the button.
This reset button can also be helpful if you are replacing the battery on the SPARK SLS. By pressing the reset button when the battery is disconnected from the board, this will reset the learned battery charge level and help the SPARK SLS learn about the charge capabilities of the new battery.
