How do I change the sampling rates for the different sensors within a wireless sensor to maximize the time that the sensor will be able to remotely log data in the field? By decreasing the sample rate for unused sensors to the slowest possible sampling rate, this frees up the memory within the sensor to store more of the data of interest. By selecting the slowest possible sampling rate for the sensor of interest that will capture the phenomena being observed, this will also increase the amount of time that the sensor will be able to collect data in the field.
