How do I use a Smart Gate and a photogate with PASCO Capstone to determine the time between gates? First select the hardware setup icon. On the icon for the Smart gate, click on port 3 to configure this to be a connected photogate. Next, select the Timer Setup. For the available sensors, make sure the first photogate on the Smart Gate is selected and the second photogate on the Smart Gate is not selected. Also, please make sure that the standard photogate is also selected.
