Antacids: An Inquiry Study

Students use a pH sensor to investigate how antacid tablets work and use a back titration method to determine how much of the active ingredient is found in one tablet.

Supports NGSS Performance Expectation HS-PS1-7: Use mathematical representations to support the claim that atoms, and therefore mass, are conserved during a chemical reaction.
