These styrofoam calorimeter cups (7.5 cm inside diameter, 10 cm deep) have 1.3 cm thick walls for excellent thermal properties. The lids have a hole for a temperature probe. Includes set of six cups with lids.
Perform the following experiments and more with the Calorimetry Cups (6).

Students use a temperature sensor to determine the heat of solution of a number of ionic compounds and propose a practical hand warmer design.
In this lab, students explore specific heat by measuring the temperatures of water and sand under an incandescent bulb. Then, they use a calorimeter to precisely measure the specific heat of each.
In this lab, students will use a fast response temperature sensor and calorimetry to determine the heat of fusion for water.
