The ScienceWorkshop 500 Interface collects data directly on a computer and supports remote datalogging. A versatile solution for all sciences, the interface combines quality desktop performance with datalogging capabilities. It is compatible with over 40 ScienceWorkshop sensors for use in Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science and Physics.
- Datalogging: The ScienceWorkshop 500 Interface collects data directly on a computer, or students can collect data with just the interface and a sensor. Students can set up an experiment using the 500, disconnect from the computer to collect data outside the classroom, and then reconnect for data analysis.
- Portability: With a built-in battery compartment for 4 "AA" batteries (not included) the ScienceWorkshop 500 Interface can collect data just about anywhere.
- 50 KB Storage Buffer: Stores data runs and experiment setup information.
- Cross-Platform Data: Logged data will open on both Mac and Windows-compatible computers. The interface stores the sensor and data display information so it knows what experiment setup to open.
We offer a variety of interfaces with diverse applications. Some of our products, such as the PASPORT and ScienceWorkshop sensors, require an interface, while others do not. This helpful page compares interface features, applications, and connectivity to help you decide which interface will serve you best.
