Variable-g Pendulum Experiment
The Adjustable Angle Clamp makes it easy to adjust the angle from zero to 90 degrees, thus varying “g” from 9.8 m/s2 to zero. The period is measured for varying angles, simulating changing the acceleration due to gravity for the pendulum.
Variable-g Pendulum Experiment
The period of the Variable-g Pendulum is plotted as a function of the angle of inclination to show the dependence of the period on g.

The complete solution for exploring the dependence of the period of a simple pendulum on the acceleration due to gravity and on the length and amplitude of the pendulum.
