The SPARK Element™ is a dedicated science learning device designed for hands-on, inquiry-based science. It is rugged, water-resistant, lightweight, and portable, making it ideal for investigations in and out of the classroom.
The Element is available by itself or bundled with your choice of interface.
Why are we adding a new Element to the table?
There are a myriad of options for technology in science classrooms and labs including desktops, laptops, netbooks, iPads®, Android® tablets, Chromebooks™ and even smart phones. And so we at PASCO have worked hard to ensure that our applications run directly on all of those platforms so that you can use your existing technology with our sensors and interfaces for data collection and analysis.
But customers have asked for a dedicated device for science and we've listened. And that's where the SPARK Element comes in. It is a robust, highly portable, powerful device designed for use in and out of science classrooms with all the features teachers and students need.
The SPARK Element is a low cost, full featured solution for science investigations.
The Element can use any of the more than 70 PASPORT sensors and can connect via USB or Bluetooth™ to the following interfaces: AirLink, SPARKlink Air and 550 Universal Interface.
The SPARK Element is an ideal platform for SPARKvue our award-winning science learning application for data collection, sharing, visualization, and analysis. Also included is the Spectrometry application.
Digital Content Included
The Element includes several highly interactive and inquiry based SPARKlab activities. These media rich, guided inquiry labs are a PASCO exclusive.
Updating your SPARK Element
Individual apps (such as SPARKvue or Spectrometry) can be updated by clicking on the PASCO App Store icon. But this short video shows you how to update the system software (the firmware) of the SPARK Element itself.
