Sound Pipe - SE-7724

Sound Pipe

Overview

Sound Pipes are a great, simple demonstration of resonance.

When students spin these pipes over their heads, the pipe produces an audible tone similar to that produced by blowing across the mouth of a bottle. As the pipe is spun faster, the resonant frequency increases.

Five different resonance frequencies can be achieved.

One pipe is included (Color may vary)

Snakey (SE-7331)

Singing Rods (SE-7301)

Bell Jar (SE-7725)

Doppler Rocket (WA-9826)
