PASPORT Thermocline Sensor - PS-2151

PS2151_inuse_MAIN.jpg

Overview

Students can directly measure temperature as a function of depth in local streams and lakes. Our Thermocline measures depth automatically — no need to read markings on a cable and enter data manually. Weighted housing provides depth measurement stability.

Typical Applications

  • Study thermoclines in fresh and salt water environments
  • Create depth profiles for bodies of water
  • Study ocean tides
