The last published update of PASCO's groundbreaking DataStudio software.
Note: After more than a decade as the premier data acquisition, display and analysis software for high school and university science, DataStudio was superseded by a powerful, totally new software package—PASCO Capstone. As of 10/17/2017 PASCO no longer produces any interfaces that are backward compatible with DataStudio.
Note: There are special instructions required for Windows 7 Installation and TechNote 583 can help walk you through the process.

Updating GLX Firmware with DataStudio
To check the version of firmware currently installed on your GLX, open the Settings screen and press F4.
Installing updates may delete files saved in the RAM and Flash folders of the GLX. Transfer stored files to your computer before upgrading the GLX. (See GLX manual for more info.)
Updating from a Computer - Once the update is on your computer, connect the GLX to the USB port and run DataStudio. When DataStudio detects a GLX running an older firmware version, it will give the option of upgrading that GLX.
Updating from a USB Flash Drive - Connect the USB flash drive containing the update to the GLX’s USB port. Open the Data Files screen. Press to open the Files menu and select Upgrade GLX Firmware.
Note: GLX firmware can also be updated using SPARKvue or PASCO Capstone
