PASCO Scientific Invites Science and STEM Educators to Summer Institutes to Learn How to Teach Science Using Data Collection and Analysis Software

At the July workshops, K-12 and higher education teachers will explore how to effectively integrate probeware into their science curriculum and leave with classroom-ready lab activities

Awesome. Productive. Highly motivating. Excellent. These are just a few of the words used by science and STEM educators to describe their experiences at Summer Institutes presented by PASCO Scientific, a global leader in 21st century science education. PASCO is now accepting registrations for its 2017 Summer Institutes to help K-12 and higher education teachers learn how to teach science using the SPARKvue® and PASCO Capstone™ data collection and analysis software. The SPARKvue Summer Institute will be held July 20–21, and the PASCO Capstone Summer Institute will take place July 25–28 in Roseville, Calif., where PASCO is headquartered.

The Summer Institutes are open to teachers across the United States and around the world. During the in-depth workshops, participants develop skills necessary to teach with PASCO probeware, including the newest Wireless Sensors. Through a mix of demonstrations and hands-on activities, teachers master the features of the software, hardware and interfaces. They return to their classrooms in the fall with a solid foundation for integrating probeware into their science or STEM curriculum, and with classroom-ready labs activities they can implement right away.

SPARKvue is PASCO’s award-winning science learning application that combines rich standards-based content, data collection, visualization, analysis, and assessment into one seamless environment. PASCO Capstone is a data acquisition, display, and analysis software designed for advanced physics and engineering investigations.
