Use of GLX as interface for SPARKvue or PASCO Capstone

How do I use the GLX to get data into a computer using SPARKvue or PASCO Capstone software?

The PS-2002 Xplorer GLX can be used as an interface when it is connected to a computing device using the USB cable that shipped with the device.  To use the GLX as an interface, please download a current version of either Capstone or SPARKvue from the following link.  https://www.pasco.com/downloads

Please connect the USB cable to a USB 2.0 socket if one is available on your computing device.  If the cable has gone missing, this is a USB A to mini-B type cable.  This is a very common cable type, but we also have it available at the following link.

Once the software is installed and is running, please power on the GLX.  The GLX will show up within the hardware setup within Capstone and will have its sensors available within SPARKvue once a PASPORT sensor is connected to the sockets at the top of the GLX or probes are connected to the temperature or voltage probe sockets on the side of the GLX.

PASCO Capstone is able to interact with the GLX most effectively as it can download and upload files that are on the GLX.  SPARKvue can only use the sensor inputs from the GLX within the software.
