PS-3600/PS-3600A Wireless Sensors will not connect to SPARK LXi via Bluetooth

Why are my wireless sensors not connecting to SPARKvue through Bluetooth on my LXi?

Note: This is only for Models PS-3600, PS-3600A, and PS-3601. For PS-3600B, contact Technical support at support@pasco.com with the serial number or 10-digit code on the bottom of the screen of the tablet.

Please sure that you are running the latest version of SPARKvue and have the most recent Android build in the system settings

Please make sure that the sensors is not connected to bluetooth in the system settings

Clear the SPARKvue app data:

  • In the main screen of the LX/LXi, scroll to the right and tap on the “Settings” icon to get to all of the settings options.
  • In Settings, scroll down the left side and tap on “Apps.” Then in the list of apps, scroll down to SPARKvue and tap on the listing to see the settings for SPARKvue.
  • In the SPARKvue settings, first tap on “Force Stop” found at the top of the page.  This assures that SPARKvue is not running in the background.
  • Next, tap on the “Storage” section.  You will now see two options to “Clear Data”, and “Clear Cache”.  Tap on both of these selections.  This deletes and stored data.
