Live Online Training

"Getting Started with the Xplorer GLX"

Join our trainers live online to get you started using your Xplorer GLX as a standalone datalogger.

Our hour-long training is intended for teachers who are just starting to use their Xplorer GLX and want to learn the basics of its operation. You'll be walked through a basic data collection activity with your own GLX by a member of PASCO's training staff, then challenged to apply your new skills to make an original measurement. Through teleconference and text chat, we'll share our discoveries, answer questions about additional GLX features, and provide resources for further learning.

You'll need your GLX, a fast response temperature probe (included in the GLX box), a Windows-based computer with a broadband connection, and a phone line. A speakerphone or phone headset is recommended to keep your hands free for this hands-on training.

MAC USERS: Our online training system does not currently support the broadcast of live video to Macs. You'll still get a lot from the training if you attend on a Mac, but please use a Windows computer if you would like to view our video feed.
