Renaming Runs and Displays

Using DataStudio TIP OF THE MONTH -- January 2003

DataStudio labels data runs and displays with generic names like "Run #1" and "Graph 1". It's a good practice to rename your data runs and displays with more descriptive names. Here's how:

The DataStudio file illustrated below shows one set of temperature data in red which was collected with a temperature sensor on a fingertip, and another set in green from a different temperature sensor placed in the palm of the hand.



 Step 1:
  • To rename a data run, click once on the run's name in the Data list to select it, wait for a moment, then click again. The run name becomes editable.)


 Step 2:
  • Type in a new name for the data run, then hit the Enter/Return key on your keyboard.
