Innovative Technology-based Solutions for CSCOPE Users

Choose the option that best fits your needs

The CSCOPE probeware bundles contain sensors that must be used with an interface to collect data.  The interface can be a standalone device for science which is perfect for schools or labs without existing technology or for applications where data needs to be collected in AND out of the classroom.

But for teachers wanting to use the computers they already have, a combination of a software license and a USB connected interface is the perfect solution.

No Computer Required

The SPARK Science Learning System (recommended)

Our recommended standalone option is the SPARK Science Learning System.  Powered by the intuitive SPARKvue software, it's large, full-color touch screen and two sensor ports make the SPARK ideal for collaborative learning.

Other Options

The Xplorer GLX is a data collection, graphing, and analysis tool designed for science students and educators. It features four sensor ports and the ability to connect to computers running DataStudio software for more flexibility.

Computer Based

SPARKvue and SPARKlink (recommended)

A site license of SPARKvue and a SPARKlink interface for each station will allow you to use existing computers to collect and analyze data with the CSCOPE probeware bundles.  SPARKvue software combines multimedia curriculum, real-time data collection, and powerful scientific analysis tools in an easy-to-use, icon-based user interface and the SPARKlink is a sensor interface with two ports to accept PASPORT sensors and USB connection to a computer running SPARKvue software.

Other options

DataStudio is still powerful, feature rich software for data collection and analysis and it can be used with any of the following interface options:

  • SPARKlink
  • USBlink
  • XPlorer GLX
  • or older PASPORT interfaces such as the Xplorer datalogger or Powerlink

For more details on the full PASPORT line of dataloggers and interfaces click on Probeware in the Products section of the PASCO site.
