USB Telescope

PASCO scientific is excited to bring astronomy to SPARKscience.  Introducing our newest edition to Earth and SPACE sciences the Solar 60 telescope from iOptron.  The Solar 60 telescope includes a USB camera which feeds live celestial images directly into SPARKscience line of software.  Now incorporate your astronomy content along with live images, all in the software you already use!  The Solar 60 telescope includes a solar filter and a computerized mount that finds and tracks the Sun, Moon, and over 5000 other stars, planets, galaxies, and comets. Just select the object you want to see and the telescope automatically moves and locks onto the object as the earth rotates.

Not just for day time viewing, the solar 60’s filter is removable so the telescope can be used for night time viewing, too.  Feed the images into SPARKvue or SPARK.  Now you students don’t have to take turns looking though the eyepiece of the telescope, they can gather around and view objects of interest as a group.
