This first release from Sally Ride science includes 10 SPARKlabs investigating global climate change and exploring the changes happening now in the atmosphere, continents, oceans, and ecosystems around the globe.

Sally Ride Science and PASCO's series on climate change offers the best of both worlds: the discovery-based learning of SPARKscience combined with the rich content developed by Sally Ride Science.

Created in partnership with Sally Ride Science, the first release is a set of 10 guided inquiry hands-on lab activities, where students investigate some of the basic science behind global climate change. As they explore temperature, pressure, and pH, they will increase their knowledge of these fundamental concepts and connect them to changes in Earth’s climate – changes that are happening now in the atmosphere, continents, oceans, and ecosystems around the globe.  The ten SPARKlab activities include:
