Check the User Resources Tab for Manuals.
The PASCO Strobe has a combination of flexibility and low cost that makes it ideal for any situation where you want to "slow down" moving objects for a closer look.
Another advantage of the ME-6978 is that it keeps the majority of the light on the object in question rather than light up the background, as so many traditional strobes do. Being LED based, the PASCO Strobe Modules are more easily focused on their actual target while still being bright enough to be seen in a large classroom or lecture hall.
The ME-6978 stystem includes the Strobe Controller Box and one Strobe Module. Additional Strobe Modules (ME-6982) can be added as each Controller can accept up to four Strobe Modules. Each module can be set flat or attached to a ringstand in any configuration depending on what you are trying to illuminate.
The Controller box allows you to vary the brightness of connected Strobe Modules and make coarse or fine adjustments to the strobe frequency. The current frequency is always shown on the easy to read digital display.
A unique feature of the PASCO Strobe is that it can be triggered by using an external input such as the ME-9498A Photogate. When set up in this fashion the strobe will flash each time the photogate's beam is broken. This external trigger input can also be used to daisy chain a second controller box for an even more extensive and flexible strobe setup.
The ME-6978 (shown with additional Strobe Modules) is ideal for "slowing down" the motion of objects such as the standing waves created by our WA-9857 String Vibrator
The ME-6978 includes one strobe module. Additional strobe lamps (ME-6982) can be added to expand your set.
