- This lab makes for an excellent lab practical for the end of a forces unit.
- The lab will take approximately one 50 minute class period.
- It may be done in groups or with the entire class working together.
- It is suggested that the mass of the cart and its contents are changed between class periods.
- The lab may also be done with masses hanging from the pulley.
- Make sure the pulley the set-up so that the string is parallel to the track.
