PASCO's equipment is designed to incorporate sensors: In this Impulse Experiment (EX-9902) a Force Sensor mounted on the dynamics track is used to measure the force during collisions with different types of bumpers. In DataStudio, the impulse is determined by finding area under the curve and the change of cart's momentum is confirmed with a Photogate and flag.
