Atomic Spectra

White light spreads out into its component colors as it passes through the diffraction grating on the Educational Spectrophotometer (OS-8539). To study atomic levels, a High Sensitivity Light Sensor and Rotary Motion Sensor are used to plot light intensity versus angle for various gas spectral tubes.
