Interference

The interference of waves from two point sources can be examined for different frequencies. The phase between the two dippers can be switched to 180 degrees.

Doppler Effect

Demonstrate the Doppler Effect by moving a single dipper through the water. In this picture, the dipper is being moved downward

Convex

The yellow convex lens focuses the plane wave. The waves show a pronounced refraction due to the abrupt change in the depth of the water over the plastic lens.

Diffraction Barriers

Diffraction Barriers are used to create a double slit to show interference. The barriers can be changed to adjust the slit width and slit separation.
