The PASCO Dynamics Track Optics Kit includes specially designed slides (carriages) that snap onto the dynamics track -- easily position optics components anywhere on the track.

Use with 1.2 or 2.2 meter tracks

Dynamics Track Optics Kit (OS-8471A)

The included Light Source provides a point source and a luminous object for optics bench labs, plus it doubles as a table-top ray box, providing rays and primary colors. Add the Ray Optics Kit (OS-8516A) for the lenses and mirrors to perform a wealth of ray optics investigations.

The kit transforms your Dynamics Track into an optics bench -- save space and lab funds.

Basic Optics Light Source (Point, Luminous Object, Rays, and Primary Colors)
Two Adjustable Lens/Mirror Holders
Geometric Lenses (+100 mm, +200 mm, and -150 mm)
Viewing Screen
Three Optics Carriages

For ultimate flexibility, the two included Adjustable Lens Holders allow you to use any of the 3 included lenses -- plus your own lenses or mirrors (accommodates diameters between 19 mm and 75 mm).

Basic Optics System (OS-8515C)

A great foundation for any physics lab

Easy-to-use, affordable and ruggedly designed, the Basic Optics System supports both geometric bench optics and table-top ray optics experiments. Includes 1.2 m track featuring a built-in metric tape to make distance measurements quick and accurate. The Basic Optics Light Source is a great tool--snaps easily onto track, but also functions as a table-top ray box. Lenses and mirrors are mounted in protective holders that snap right onto track, but slide and reposition easily. Ray optics materials include an assortment of lenses, mirrors.

The Basic Optics System is simply a great all-around value for your physics lab.

The versatile Light Source snaps easily onto track, but also provides double duty as a table-top ray box for studies in reflection, refraction, color addition and Snell's Law.

The included Adjustable Lens Holder allows you to use any lenses or mirrors with diameters between 19 mm and 75 mm.
