1. Connect the USB link to the USB port of the computer and plug the Motion Sensor into the USB link.
   
   
2. Place all of the equipment on the lab station. Do not attach the end-stop or the Motion Sensor to the track so as not to guide the students in any particular direction.
   
   
3. Be certain to set the switch on the Motion Sensor to near (cart).
   
   
4. Download DataStudio files for Graph 1, Graph 2, Graph 3, Graph 4 and Graph 5:
   
   
   PASPORT: Windows (Zip file) or Macintosh (Stuffit file).
   

You are now ready to begin collecting data.
