Experimental Setup for the ScienceWorkshop 750 Interface using DataStudio:

    Part 1: Incline
    1. Remove the aluminum slugs from the fan accessory.
    2. Attach the fan accessory to the cart.
    3. Attach the base and rod to one end of the track as in the picture below. Use this end to adjust the angle of the incline.
    Part 2: Level

    1. Carefully level the track as in the picture below.
    2. Connect the 750 Interface to the serial port of the computer and plug the Motion Sensor into digital channels 1 and 2 (yellow in 1; black in 2).
    1. Set the switch on the top of the Motion Sensor to "near" as in the picture below.
    1. Download the "I'm a Fan of Acceleration" DataStudio file:

      2. ScienceWorkshop: Windows (Zip file) or Macintosh (Stuffit file).

    You are now ready to begin collecting data.
