- If possible, find a merry-go-round with a large radius.
- If using a swing, find a long swing. Have the student swing (safely) as high as possible.
- Impress upon the students the importance of making precise measurements. For a swing, have them find the length. For a merry-go-round, find the radius. For a roller coaster, find the maximum height
