Data Analysis for DataStudio:
- Use the Data button to hide all data runs by selecting
No Data. Use the Data button again to show only run 1.
- In the graph window, click on the smart tool to determine
the maximum frictional force for each data run. This is
commonly referred to as the maximum static frictional force.
Choose the different data runs by using the Data button.
- Record the maximum static frictional force in the table,
along with the normal force on the friction tray for each
data run.
- This data will automatically be placed on a static frictional
force-normal force graph. Use the Fit button to choose an
appropriate curve fit for the data.
