1. Connect the 500 Interface to the serial port of the computer and plug the 1st Force Sensor into the analog channel A. Then, plug the 2nd Force Sensor into analog channel B.
   
   
2. If the Force Sensor does not have the hook installed on the end, then install the hook. Tie a 30 cm piece of string between the hook of the Force Sensor and the cork friction tray (see photo below).
   
   Note: PASPORT sensors are shown for equipment configuration purposes only; they cannot be used with a 500 interface.
   
   
   
3. With no force applied to the sensor, push the zero (tare) button on the sensor. You only need to do this once!
