1. Press the Start  Button on the GLX.


2. Record the value of the Force.


3. Press the Stop  Button on the GLX.


4. Record any other relevant data.


5. At this point the teacher will change the mass of the cart and its contents and the angle of the incline for the next group.

1. Determine the mass of the cart and its contents. Show all work including force diagrams.


2. How did you account for friction in your solution? Explain.


3. When the last group has finished their calculations, find the true mass of the cart and its contents. Determine the percent difference between your calculation and the true mass.
