- For Part 1, make sure the masses do not strike the spring.
- Remind students to be careful with the spinning masses.
- If students get unexpected results check their calculations of moment of inertia. Also, check to make sure they have selected the correct pulley in the Setup menu.
- The instructor may choose to give students different springs.
